Killer InstinctA tale of the making of a big Hollywood picture.
Davis Miles
Co-Host, Wake Up World
Davis Miles started out as a collegiate then semi-professional badminton, squash and racquetball player. It was a year-round athletic endeavor which resulted in a very serious and career-crushing multiple middle finger injury. Instead of wasting away on the sidelines, he chose to participate in a journalistic capacity covering every and all international competition. He quickly became the black face of the semi-pro badminton, squash and racquetball (or “Badsquarac") community. He coined the phrase “What’s with the racquet? Use a Hackett” from his infamous Hackett Sporting Equipment ads that ran on ESPN 2 and Univision (the only English-speaking commercial ever aired on the network)
He gained more steam when he delivered his hilarious romp of a speech called “The State of the Squash Address” at numerous Badsquarac events which lead to a long-lasting friendship with commentatrix Michelle Malkin. The two hit it off and just for fun began performing a hit cabaret revue titled “Me and My Malkin,” which Herbert Ramshackle of the KGOP-TV called “…a flawless victory.” Jerry “Skrimp Skrimp” Trundlebush of the Daily Downtown said “…showtunes married to Al Jolson? What’s not to watch?”
Fresh from his triumphant tour of red states, Davis caught the attention of 24/7 executive producer Barry Katzman who took him under his wing and taught him the key to good broadcast journalism: agreeability.
Along with Hope Jean Paul, he’s happy to Wake Up World everyday.

About the Show
From the mind of Daily Show co-creator Lizz Winstead comes WAKE UP WORLD, America's only 6-hour morning show! Half the content, twice the time.
WAKE UP WORLD, the flagship show of the 24/7 INFONEWSMENT NETWORK features "exclusive" interviews with experts and authors those "other" bloated morning shows somehow completely overlooked.
